How does YK11 work?
Remember how we mentioned that YK11 is synthetically altered DHT and that it will only bind to the androgen receptors found in your muscles and bones? As YK11 is so strong – and similar to steroids – there is a growing concern that it may affect hair growth, prostate health, the pitch of your voice and other organs. Other health concerns include oesophagus, stomach, skin and prostate cancer (due to too high a follistatin presence); although it has been positively linked to breast cancer.
It might not cause full roid rage, but users have reported feeling angrier, more aggressive and being quicker to react outside of the gym due to it suppressing natural hormone production.
This is a common complaint amongst YK11 users.
Now, most of these are due to a too high a YK11 dosage, so by taking the correct amount you can minimize this risk.

With as little as 5mg of YK11 SARM a day (taken over 4-8 weeks), you can begin to see positive muscle gains. However, most YK11 users recommend taking 10-15mg a day. Any more and you risk experiencing more negative side effects.
What else do you need to know?
- Start small and only build up your dosage if you experience no side effects.
- Cycle One: 5mg of YK11 a day for 6 weeks. NOTE: this cycle is great for newbies.
- Cycle Two: 10-15mg a day for up to 8 weeks. NOTE: only for experienced users.
- Female users: they typically take only 0.5-2mg of YK11 a day.
- Half-life: lack of research means the half-life of this SARM hasn’t been established yet (although anecdotal evidence suggests it’s pretty short). Because of this, users recommend splitting your YK11 dosage in two to help maximize its half-life and keep your blood levels stable.
- 15-30mg of YK11 is too much and will increase the risk of side effects.
- PCT is a must – YK-11 may only cause mild testosterone suppression, but to be on the safe side try PCTing it with Nolvadex or Clomid.
- Stacking – for optimal results, users recommend stacking it with RAD140, LGD-4033 or Andarine (just remember to keep your YK11 dosage to no more than 5mg a day).

First, there is the fact that it has never been tested on humans or even animals. NEVER. All of these bold bodybuilding claims are based on cellular studies. There is no real proof that it will work at the level these sites claim it will.
Second, it has been banned by the WADA and is prohibited from use in competitions. In other words, it is illegal to buy unless it is for research purposes.
Now, you might claim that your workout regime is a form of ‘research’. But if you’re serious about bodybuilding and competing, then this SARM CAN and WILL get you kicked out.
Third, there is no knowledge of its long term impact.
Arguably, you could say that with such minimal research, we don’t know for certain that it will cause the side effects already on its list. But given that it is based on the reviews of hundreds if not thousands of users, then there must be an element of truth to it causing acne, baldness, testosterone suppression and aggression.
